ABOUT

A trusted partner to architects and designers—shaping exceptional outdoor spaces, thoughtfully considered from the inside out.

The spaces we live in shape the way we live.

We believe good design does more than make a space beautiful. It influences how we begin and end our days, how we gather with family and friends, and how we feel in the places we call home.

That belief has been at the heart of our work from the beginning.

Kristina Albaugh and Josh Ingmire founded Hundred Mile in 2011 after years of working within the luxury design industry. Having experienced the traditional showroom model firsthand—we knew there was another way to work.

We wanted to build something different.

From the beginning, Hundred Mile was intentionally small and highly edited. We chose to represent only manufacturers and products we could wholeheartedly stand behind for their design, quality, consistency, and durability.

Our role has never been simply to provide access to beautiful things. We do the editing, sourcing, research, and problem-solving behind the scenes so our clients can spend more of their time doing what they do best: designing for their clients.

Two perspectives. One approach.

Between us, we bring different perspectives to the same project, shaped by decades of experience in architecture and design.

Josh’s architectural and engineering background gives him an instinctively technical approach. He considers how a product works within the architecture, how it performs, and how the details come together. His perspective allows him to communicate naturally with architects, designers, and manufacturers throughout a project.

Kristina approaches the same project through the people who will ultimately live with it. How will the space actually be used? How should the space feel at the beginning and end of the day? What will this choice mean not only when the project is photographed, but years later as it becomes part of someone’s everyday life?

Those perspectives continually inform one another, allowing us to consider both the project and the people within it—to balance technical performance with the realities of how a space will actually be lived in.

The evolution to outdoors.

The idea for Hundred Mile Outdoor grew naturally from that same philosophy: outdoor spaces shouldn’t be treated as secondary to interiors.

A terrace, garden, courtyard, pool area, or outdoor dining space can be every bit as important to daily life as the rooms inside.

We believe those spaces deserve the same level of consideration—the same comfort, quality, permanence, and design integrity. Inside and outside should feel connected, with one environment flowing naturally into the next.

Hundred Mile Outdoor is the evolution of the company we began in 2011: the same highly edited approach, the same personal involvement, and the same commitment to our clients, now with a dedicated focus on outdoor furniture, lighting and exceptional outdoor living.

A relationship, not a transaction.

Many of our client relationships have lasted for years, and that means more to us than any individual project.

When you work with Hundred Mile Outdoor, you work directly with us. We get to know your projects, learn how you work, and over time we become an extension of your team.

Our responsibility isn’t to sell something simply because we can. It’s to help you make the right decision for the project.

We understand that when a designer or architect chooses to work with us, they are trusting us with more than an order. They are trusting us with part of their relationship with their own client.

We take that responsibility personally.

Our goal is that when a project is complete, our involvement has made the process easier—and that the value we’ve contributed extends well beyond the products themselves.

Because ultimately, the best measure of our work isn’t a single sale or even a single project.

It’s being there for the next one.
